Sandra Dawson is a native Floridian. She worked as a registered nurse in Ocala for 20 years before going back to school for a Bachelor's in Nursing at the University of Florida in Gainesville, followed closely by a Master's in Nursing at Florida State University. “We literally care for our patients like we would care for our family, ” Dawson said. “I’ve never been anywhere else where you’re given that leeway.” She maintained membership in Sigma Theta Tau, nursing school honor society, throughout both bachelors and masters programs. She lives in Eustis, FL and enjoys practicing and making a impact in her community. “I love caring for my patients. It’s something that I look forward to every day. They share their life with me; they return the love … there’s no better job out there, ” she said.
